Revision to Florida's State Implementation Plan (SIP) - Incorporation of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) Emissions Limits for Two Facilities in Polk County

On December 1, 2017, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection submitted a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision, under the Clean Air Act, to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Florida’s proposed SIP amendment consists of specific conditions from two air construction permits for two facilities, Mosaic New Wales and Mosaic Bartow, as they pertain to emissions of SO2.  The EPA approved the request for amendment on February 20, 2020, with an effective approval date of March 23, 2020.
