Virtual Office Hours: October 2024
Throughout October 2024, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Resilient Florida Program will hold Virtual Office Hours to offer assistance related to grant reporting and invoicing to current Resilient Florida grantees. The Virtual Office Hours will be held once weekly via Microsoft Teams (further information provided below).
- Current Grantee Assistance: These Virtual Office Hours will be a time where team members from the Resilient Florida Program Grants, Budget, GIS, and Field sections, will be available to answer questions related to your current Resilient Florida grant progress reporting, deliverable submissions, and payment requests. Grantees are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to have project-specific questions answered and to connect with the Resilient Florida Program team!
- Please note: There will not be a formal presentation during these office hours, nor is attendance required.
How to Attend the Virtual Office Hours:
WHEN: Every Wednesday in October 2024, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. EST
Grantees will receive a Microsoft Teams link for the Virtual Office Hours via email as we get closer to next fiscal quarter.
Please contact ResilientFloridaGrants@FloridaDEP.gov if technical assistance is needed with joining the office hours.
The Resilient Florida Program includes a selection of grants that are available to counties, municipalities, special districts with specific responsibilities and regional resilience entities. To effectively address the impacts of flooding and sea level rise that the state faces, eligible applicants may receive funding assistance to analyze and plan for vulnerabilities, as well as implement projects for adaptation and mitigation.
Please refer to section 380.093, Florida Statutes, for more information on the eligible project and grant types and the requirements to apply.
Applications submitted for funding consideration require a comprehensive evaluation to ensure that funds are allocated timely and appropriately and pursuant to Florida Statute. Additional funding awards will be provided when they become available.
