The Office of General Counsel provides legal counsel and represents the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The office focuses on Florida’s environmental priorities, such as restoring America’s Everglades; improving air quality; restoring and protecting water quality in Florida’s springs, lakes, rivers and coastal waters; conserving environmentally sensitive lands; and providing residents and visitors with varied recreational opportunities.

Justin Wolfe graduated with a B.S. and J.D. from the University of Florida. He has served as deputy for program attorneys for Division of Water Resource Management, Office of Mining and Minerals, Division of Air Resource Management, Division of State Lands, Division of Recreation and Parks, Division of Environmental Assessment and Restoration, Division of Water Restoration Assistance, Resilience and Coastal Protection, Office of Water Policy and Office of Ecosystem Projects and served as program attorney for the Florida Geological Survey.
