The Bureau of Finance and Accounting has primary responsibility for the department’s financial and accounting activities, including planning, organizing, directing and coordinating finance and accounting services in support of the programs and services of the department.

Provide quality accounting and financial information and services to effectively and efficiently accomplish the goals of the department. We support our customers by:
- Producing accurate and timely financial management and business related reports.
- Establishing and maintaining accounting controls.
- Developing directives, accounting procedures and financial policies to ensure proper fiscal administration and internal control.
- Executing fiduciary and stewardship responsibilities in consonance with chief financial officer, Legislature and regulatory authorities.
- Developing, implementing and supporting innovative, flexible, user-friendly and error-free financial systems.

The bureau is composed of the Bureau Chief’s Office (includes Trust Fund Analyses and FEMA public assistance program) and four management units: Financial Reporting (includes Accounting Systems and Statewide Financial Statements); Revenue Management (includes Revenue/Receipts, State Park Revenue and Grants Revenue); Disbursements Management (includes Contract Disbursements, MyFloridaMarketPlace disbursements, travel, recurring payments and purchasing card disbursements); and Payroll, Property and Cost Accounting.
