Clean Air Month highlights the important role of clean air for our health, our environment and our economy. Florida is home to some of the cleanest air in the nation, and May is the perfect time to commit to doing more through education followed by action.
Recognizing the importance of clean air, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection consistently works to protect and improve Florida's air quality. By monitoring air quality, promoting pollution prevention, and coordinating with local, state and federal clean air programs, Florida is a national leader in air quality and meets all of EPA’s Air Quality Standards.
