Potable Water Program

  • Monitoring schedules are provided only for community water systems (CWS) and non-transient non-community (NTNC) systems.
  • It is ultimately the responsibility of the facility owners to ensure all monitoring is completed and results are submitted timely to the department.   
  • The information provided in these spreadsheets is a good faith assessment of the monitoring requirements for each system, and we have sought to provide accurate information. Questions about the schedules should be directed to the assigned county inspector (see Inspector List below).
  • We strongly encourage all systems to conduct sampling early within the designated monitoring periods. This will allow time for resamples if necessary.
  • Monitoring Schedules Instructions: These instructions are provided to assist systems with reading and interpreting the monitoring schedules. A blank table is provided in this document.
  • To locate your systems monitoring schedule, click on the county name to open an Excel Spreadsheet listing all CWS and NTNC systems in Public Water System (PWS) ID Number order. After you open the file, you can use the find function or Ctrl-F to locate your specific system.

• Consumer Confidence Reports (Annual Water Quality Reports): All community water systems are required to provide customers with annual Consumer Confidence Reports or Water Quality Reports. It is due to customers by July 1 with a copy of the Certification of Delivery due Aug. 10.
