DEP is proposing revisions to Chapter 62-41.400-403, F.A.C., entitled "Outstanding Florida Springs" to adopt uniform rules for issuing permits which prevent groundwater withdrawals that are harmful to the water resources and to adopt a uniform definition of the term “harmful to the water resources” to provide water management districts with minimum standards necessary to be consistent with the overall water policy of the state for Outstanding Florida Springs. The purpose of this rule development workshop is to discuss and receive public input on the development of proposed amendments.

DEP is hosting this public workshop for in-person attendees at the address listed below, as well as virtually via Microsoft Teams.
