FCMP Program Changes

2023

In order to keep the approved Florida Coastal Management Program (FCMP) current, it is necessary to periodically update the statutes that make up the program after legislative changes have occurred. This program change submission seeks to update all statutes that make up the FCMP. This submission will incorporate new and revised section changes to the referenced Florida Statutes that were enacted during 2023. In addition, after these changes, the FCMP will continue to comply with section 306 of the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972.

Analysis and statute text changes are included in this submission. Staff has evaluated these changes pursuant to 15 CFR 923, Subpart H and concluded that the changes involved are not substantive. Therefore, the state is submitting theses as a non-substantive program change as required by 15 CFR 923.84.
