Rookery Bay Art Competition

As the COVID situation unfolds we have switched to virtual programming and are seeking permission to hold the first "Rookery Bay Art Competition" for middle and high school students. The attached powerpoint will be recorded over as a video (see notes section of each slide to see major talking points) and released each Monday for four weeks, starting on June 8, via rookerybay.org and Friend's or Rookery Bay's youtube channel. Each Monday a new theme will be released (we have attached all four videos in this presentation, but all but one will be removed each week, the presentation will otherwise remain the same) and students will be asked to create artwork based on this theme and submit their creation by the following Thursday. On each Friday we will *with approval* be hosting a live webinar to announce our weekly winners (submitting as separate request). Small Rookery Bay-themed prizes (stickers, bamboo straws, etc...) will be mailed out each week and at the end all winners will be entered for a grand prize drawing (prize TBD). This event will be free and open to students all around the state, country, or world.
