The Division of Air Resource Management’s Compliance Assurance Section provides oversight to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s six district and eight approved local program offices responsible for conducting compliance and enforcement activities pursuant to the Clean Air Act. 

The Air Compliance Assurance Section also manages the division's many data systems. Accurate and current data is essential in assisting facilities meet their requirements and is a significant obligation under the department's agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding administration of the Clean Air Act.

In addition to the above duties, the Air Compliance Assurance Section manages statewide emissions inventories, the asbestos program for demolition and renovation activities, and the Small Business Environmental Assistance Program.

Compliance and Enforcement Information and Tools

If you need to make a complaint, submit a compliance report, or have compliance questions related to a specific facility, please contact the DEP district office or local air program in your area.
