Wakulla County Septic Tank Study
In this second phase of study on performance based septic treatment systems (PBTS) in Wakulla County, the research team found that although the amount of nitrate in PBTS effluent did not meet the county’s expectations of 10 mg/L, they provided significantly greater nitrate removal than conventional septic systems.
