The map below includes links to information on over 1,300 existing recreational trails located in the state of Florida.

An existing recreational trail is defined as a paved or unpaved trail for hiking, biking, equestrian, multiple use, paddling or motorized use (all terrain vehicles, off-highway motorized vehicles and recreational off-highway vehicles) and is open to the public. This does not include on-road bike lanes or sidewalks. A larger version of this map is available.

To get started, simply click and drag to your desired location in the map. You can zoom in/out using the +/- buttons in the upper left-hand corner of the map window. If you are interested in discovering trails in a certain area, use the search bar in the upper right-hand corner of this map window to search by places such as cities, counties or major geographic features. Selecting a trail feature in this map will reveal an external link to more information on that feature.

The features appearing in this map are compiled from local, state, federal and private agencies and organizations. Please contact OfficeofGreenwaysandTrails@FloridaDEP.gov if you would like to have a trail included in this guide.

We are not responsible for trail information presented on non-DEP websites. Certain portions of all designated state trails have been constructed with federal recreation trails and transportation alternative funding. These corridors provide opportunities for non-motorized modes of recreation including bicycling, inline skating, hiking and horseback riding. Federal guidelines prohibit motorized (electric or gas powered) vehicles on designated state trails funded in this manner.
