FDEP/Water Well Contractor Work Group Meeting

The Department (David James) chairs the FDEP/Water Well Contractor Work Group meetings. The work group consists of representatives from the FDEP, WMDs, FDOH, the Florida Ground Water Association (FGWA), and private water well contractors. As required by Section 373.337, F.S, the Department shall provide each water management district and representatives of the water well contracting industry with meaningful opportunity to discuss regulation of wells, water well construction methods and procedures, and professionalism consistent with industry standards.
